For the construction and future maintenance of a 460 m long and 330 m high arch bridge for the railway line Jammu–Srinagar in India an innovative cable crane traverse system is installed. The main cables’ span width is 915 m, the pylons at the ends have a height of 120 m resp. 100 m. One traverse shows a length of 40 m and a load bearing capacity of 20 tons on the hook. Two of such systems are installed side by side. They can be operated in tandem.
Services: Planning of concept, construction planning of pylons and bracings, nonlinear cable calculation of the complete system in construction and final state, building inspection of the construction of pylons
