The Olympic Grand Bridge was designed for the Olympic games in 1988. The structure is now equipped with a Monitoring System of the type BRIMOS® 3.2, which provides information on the health of the bridge. Deck, pylon and cables are equipped with Sensors, which record the vibrational signature. The data are processed on site and transferred via modem to the home base since 1997.
