The existing underground railway station Pilgramgasse of theU4 line in Vienna is reconstructed and extended to an underground railway junction. The resulting highly complex structure was integrativelyplanned in BIM due to the challenges in construction and operation of the object.
The BIM model was used for design and simulation of the construction process in order to optimize mass transport.
