University Hospital St. Pölten – Buildings C and G

Description

A new hospital was built in the centre of Lower Austria’s capital St. Pölten in the area of the existing hospital (buildings A+B). The 9-floor building is situated west of the existing buildings A and B. The new C building comprises inpatient wards, operating rooms, intensive care units, outpatient department, two subterranean garage floors etc. The G building forms the new main entrance area and the link to the existing hospital (B building) and consists of all in all four floors. The 2-floor entrance hall with a view of the historic Kaisergarten has the biggest area. Furthermore several shops and offices are accommodated in building G.

BIM Services

In the course of planning the Revit-3D-Model was elaborated in the tender phase. This was the basis for the structural plans for tendering, for checking the quantity survey for the service specifications, preparing 3D views for several adjustments with architecture and HVAC and generating formwork plans.
