The present design of a cable-stayed bridge with two posts for the new Rhine bridge between Hard and Fußach complies with the required aims in optimal synergy between the technical, ecological, economic and urbanistic as well as scenic criteria.
The structure is a cable-stayed bridge with two posts and two cable levels incl. a two-span foreshore bridge in massive construction method built in in-situ concrete. A cable-stayed bridge is also the best choice from the scenic point of view. Vertical, slender pylons minimize the visual division of the horizon so that an optimum view over the Rhine valley is preserved.
