AK Plösslgasse

Vienna, Austria

New construction of an office building in 1040 Vienna with two basement floors and seven upper floors for the Chamber of Labour for Vienna and Lower Austria. In a basement storey a server substation and a film archive are accommodated.

A front-mounted profiled glass facade was designed. A building simulation considering the user-specific as well as the technical (HVACR) and physical conditions is calculated to ensure structural and physical as well as climatic quality control. In addition the building is connected to the neighbouring main building of the Chamber of Labour for Vienna in Prinz-Eugen-Strasse regarding the building services. A multi-functional conference room is planned on the top floor.
