The new bridge is an essential part of the 4-lane road-connection between the Kremser expressway (S33) and the Stockerauer expressway (S5). The main bridge is a three-span prestressed concrete bridge with two piers. The middle span has a length of 156.20 m and two side spans 99.90 m each. Two-way navigation will operate under the middle span. An important part of the work was the development of a foundation of the piers as well as the design of an economically and optically demanding structure.
