The Public Works Authority (PWA) intends to provide grade-separated pedestrian bridges in different parts of Qatar. These facilities will provide a complete separation of pedestrian and vehicular traffic and will make it easier and safer for pedestrians to walk to a variety of destinations such as schools, shopping centres and public transport interchanges. The program will be a design & build project for the construction of a number of pedestrian bridges and in parallel, the planning and development of other pedestrian bridges.
The width of the Bridge will be about 4 m. The length is about 95 m. The complete superstructure inclusive the external cladding which has a acylindrical shape is made of aluminium.
