The current traffic situation regarding transit routes and parking facilities in Otopeni does not correspond to the requirements. An increasing traffic volume in the town centre of Otopeni was observed as a considerable share of motorized individual traffic can be attributed to transit traffic. Therefore a master plan shall be elaborated which shall improve the current traffic situation and the local traffic also including bicycle routes. Furthermore parking facilities shall be improved. This master plan serves as a basis for the preparation of feasibility studies.
