The existing underground network in Bucharest shall be further extended. The new underground section of line 5 shall be extended starting with the station Eroilor, connected to the section which is under construction at the moment, until station Iancului
The entire underground line will be established sub terrestrial and the connection of the station will be realised with two tubes by means of the TBM. This section consists of six stations and extends over a length of 6 km. All construction works will be carried out under maintenance of the public and individual traffic.
The foreseen construction period will be estimated with 36 months.
