The Waterford Stay Cable Bridge (River Suir Bridge) is part of the Waterford Bypass N25. The cable stayed bridge has a span configuration 40m, 70m, 90m, (230m), 35m and a deck width of 30.60 m. The concrete pylon has a height of 95.6 m above deck. The bridge was completed in September 2009. Before traffic opening VCE performed cable measurements of all 76 stays. The results are the actual cable forces and the cable damping. On the bridge a permanent monitoring system was installed by VCE.

The system includes 62 measurement channels. The data are automatically analysed on site and presented via internet by the BRIMOS® Web-Interface.
