Climate Protection & Sustainability

Make Your Project Climate-proof

We at VCE consider climate protection and sustainability central pillars of our work. Our committed team works at developing innovative solutions for the ecological, economic, and social needs of our clients. From design up to implementation we attach great importance to minimizing the impacts of our projects on the environment and positively contributing to sustainability. Experience how we make a difference thanks to our commitment for climate protection and sustainability and jointly shape a future worth living.

Collective efforts for the reduction of greenhouse gases are required for being able to meet the climate targets agreed – in all sectors and by all persons involved. We, the construction sector, have a significant share in the CO2 emissions. It is important to us to change this and to support you in your projects in the best possible way for a sustainable and climate-friendly implementation.

We offer a wide range of services to meet the needs from politics and the environment.

KliNa Initiative

The KliNa initiative was started in order to concentrate the internal know-how in the company on the topics climate protection and sustainability and to strengthen the awareness. The focus of the KliNa initiative is internal and external awareness raising, the support of clients in manifold subject areas and the performance of respective services.

Apart from the annual KliNa Day we also attach importance to climate-friendly mobility. Measures are continuously taken in the terms of climate-friendly mobility management.

Internally this comprises the job ticket, additional home office days as well as the participation in the campaign "Wien radelt" (Vienna cycles). Business trips are preferably done by train to avoid flights. Company bikes are made available to our employees and new company cars are selected not only based on safety aspects and fitness for work but also on their environmental compatibility.
