The Delhi – Ghaziabad – Meerut RRTS Corridor is a 82.15 km long double track railway line that originates from a terminal station in the centre of Delhi and runs up to Meerut.

68 km Streckenlänge werden auf Viadukten errichtet, die restlichen Abschnitte in Tunnel. Die Strecke soll mit 160 km/h befahren werden, die Planungsgeschwindigkeit beträgt 180 km/h.

The line includes 68 km of elevated viaduct and the remaining length is underground.The project speed is 160 km/h (design speed 180 km/h).

The project will be realized with theprecast system of Slab Track Austria for viaduct section, tunnels, stations and depots. NCRTC commissioned PORR Bau GmbH as track system supplier and VCE for the track design. The design package for the track system supplier consists of the preparation of PORR Slab Track Typical design with all the documents required for development of the detail design.

Once operational, it will be the fastest, most comfortable and safest mode of commuter transport in the National Capital Region.
